These wee sketches on completed Sudoku pages really encapsulate my only aim in making all these small artworks: humble, simple, imperfect.  Acrylic and gouache Mounted on Stonehenge paper 8" x 8"

I'm blaming Don Draper for these. I'm slowly making my way through the first four seasons of Mad Men on Netflix and while watching, I make these little sketches on my husband's completed Sudoku pages. Now that I've made it to Season 3, there are dozens of these little doodles piling up around the sofa. They don't mean much in the grand scheme of things but they are fun to do. Until the Sudoku books run out, I'll continue to use the completed pages for fooling around while watching television and will occasionally post some of the results. Here's a few of the first batch. Gouache and pencil mostly; mounted on to 8" x 8" Stonehenge paper.
