My entries for this year's RoCo6x6 fundraiser. It's such a fun event and I enjoy supporting it. There's still time to submit as the deadline is April 19. I've got a solo show coming up in January 2013 at Abend Gallery in Denver. I'll post the exact dates as soon as they are nailed down. Abend has represented my oil paintings for a few years now and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to show my newest work there. That means that posting here might get much more sporadic over the next six months. These little ones are the things I make between paintings or as part of my daily practice. They aren't for commercial purposes per se, but I love them nonetheless. Hopefully in the rush to complete my main work, I'll still get time to post here. Night Fall, 30" x 30", Oil on Canvas This painting will be exhibited at the Coos Art Museum in Coos Bay, Oregon in their 2012 Expressions West Exhibition, April 27 - June 30, 2012. It's my second time in the show and I am delighted to be included again.

If you are in the area, please head on down to Abend Gallery for their annual holiday miniature show beginning December 2, 2011. It's one of my favorite shows of the year and a great opportunity to acquire wonderful small artworks by an incredibly diverse group of artists. My work has also been included in the December issue of American Art Collector as one of the featured artists for the show (page 163). As soon as I get a photo or a PDF, I'll post it.

Rochester Contemporary Art Center hosts a great annual fundraiser that you should check out! Artists from across the globe create 6" x 6" pieces to sell in aid of the Center's continuing programs. It's a great way to pick up small pieces of original art at at steal ($20 / artwork). My contribution to their fundraising efforts are six collages (seen above) and I can't wait to purchase a few myself!
