A New Acquisition - Artists buying Art
Isn't it wonderful! This piece was created by U.K. artist, Andy Parkinson , and was included in the 2012 6" x 6" exhibit at the Rochester Contemporary Arts Center and when I came across the piece,. Love this one especially. Are you a fan of Joan Mitchell's work? This reminds me of something I once read about her criticizing "one brush paintings." (Where it looked like only one size brush was used.) This is clearly the opposite of that.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like Joan Mitchell's work. Call me a rebel but I never buy into another's aesthetic or technical (or subject or style, etc) agenda. If one brush does the trick, then one brush it is! Rock on! LOL
