A couple of years ago, I made a few experimental pieces using cold wax on paper. And while that initial foray into the medium left me uninspired to continue at that time, the cold wax still rattled around my noggin. A few days ago, I decided to pull the waxy goop back out and try it with oil paints on a gorgeous new(ish) oil painting paper by Arches. This time, I'm in love. Stay tuned for many more.
